I was first introduced to the concept of mindfulness in a high school Body-Mind class. In the decades since I have developed my own regular contemplative practice as well received teacher training of various kinds. I believe that developing the capacity to notice what is happening in your whole being in the present moment, and understanding how the nervous system works can be empowering and life-changing. Holistic Psychotherapy helps you tap into mindful awareness of present states of being. This safe, nurturing connection to the present moment helps you use current suffering as a teacher and a guide toward healing. It integrates traditional psychotherapy techniques with other healing modalities in order to move you toward personal growth. With compassion and patience, I work collaboratively with you identify your strengths, determine which healing modalities are right for you, and move through your pain so that you can meet your goals.
